Fair enough. But at least be consistent, people. How was my comment less relevant than some other nonsense people post around here?

I hate the w00t map but, these maps are what w00t could have been. Some of these maps are very well done and well worth a play!! Nice one:)

GJ Sabbath (and horton, MB, switch etc etc) ... i'm about half way through the pack :) So far these are great maps and very professionally made - there are NO FLAWS i can find in any so far and the kicking / air control is awesome... Sabbath also does his own art, promos, websites, and tracks music too - that adds a lot of value in my book...
@west : "WOOT" is just a "moniker", to not try the maps because of what they're called seems silly dude :/ i bet if you put that out of your mind fo rthe moment and give them a play or two, you won't be disappointed - i've found 3vs3, 4vs4 offLine gives lots of action and the bots give you fits because they get to me everywhere ...
The score 8 is provisional, i might adjust it whenever i finish with the pack -- good job mappers!!

Thanks for the news post Hourences.
All credit goes to SabbathCat. SOme brilliant work making for some maps that are quite fun online.
And big props to Switch for the new PATHABLE kicker that bots use quite well.
Cheers all.

Just got it and can't wait to play them all. I have seen some of these during beta testing and i think to say anything before you see them is missing out. SC is a great origonal thinker and he has revamped and totally made these classic maps and i am sure once i see these final versions i will be too busy to comment for a while.
Love the website and will try out the video tomorrow night as i have heard it is really awesome. Darn dial up! Thanks Sabbath Cat and team. I'll rate it once i have seen everything or not...i hate the number system....maybe just a paws up or a paws down will suffice..:)

ROFL , i was about to flame on the pack's name. Wow, the screenshots were so unexpectable. Especialy the second one, whoa. I'll give it a try, UP dudes. Once the stupid mirroring problems get fixed that is.

i gotta be honest here, i really hate the woot style of gameplay, and most woot maps look like crap too
but this pack has a few maps in which look great and actually take the rather boring(imo) woot gameplay to a different level and i had some fun playing some of the maps, there is still the problem of some jumppads making flag captures way too easy....yes there are lots of jumppads but some of these maps are genuinely good despite this
if your not a fan of the woot style of gameplay, then most of these maps you wont like, but there are a few maps in there are genuinely good and its not just a pile of rubbish, so take a look

Heh, awesome package...I knew this pack was gonna be released, and the 'w00t'age of the maps is just a trap for the guys here...lol...anyway, great job on the visuals.

Some good maps here, great architecture, lighting and texturing. Bot support is great too. If you're looking for some good, quick CTF maps then this pack is a really good start. Great Work guys!
Honey I Shrunk the w00t & Hunt for the w00t October we're the only one's i didn't like too much. But the rest are great in my book.

... its a *real* pity the maps from the mappack don't have a mappack prefix next to CTF to order them, like CTC or ORM. I'll conjure a curse on you Sabbath :p ...

Did Frag just say silly?...meh anyways, I plan to dl this map pack just as soon as I can. the screenies make me want to play ^.^. I have CTF-W00tablulous(fixed) running on my server atm so...if thats any indication as to what these other maps are gonna be like then I cant wait to dl em..::score pending::

As w00t maps, rating is a 0. All the l337 g4m3rz will tell you bot path actors kill your fps (and if you can't tell the difference between 140.3 and 140 fps, you're not !337), and it's not w00t if it doesn't have a line of redeemers in front of your spawn.
All look nice, some are more spammy than others...all in all a very good map pack.

Finally got a chance to check these out, loaded up 7 on a side on Adept and went through 'em.
Bots kicked my butt at times, other times such as in Airy (I think it was Airy), I could single handedly defend the base on instagib by just walking straight out from the flag to the first jumpers and turning around - no enemy bot ever took a shot at me for 5 minutes, I just fragged 'em to no end as they went for the flag.
Overall I enjoyed playing them, thought they were well done; a couple I remember from the server at Unrealplayground, I usually had a 230+ ping there though and that and the lag made me an easy target.

The following short blurbs and ratings are subject to change, but my impressions after some play...
Airie: (4) Simple but fun. AllyourfacingWoot: (4.5) Has some internal spaces and 3 levels. All your W00t SE: (5.5) Closest in design to the original. Laggiest one one my machine (most of the others run fine) Another Brick in the w00t: (4) Has a design flaw in that to access the flag platform (sans TL) you need to get on an elevator, and if it is in the up position you are SOL. Bridge over troubled Lava: (5) The bridge does not really figure into gameplay (there is a secret way up there, making it good for a sniper nest if nothing else). Castle W00tenstein: (6) Multiple routes. Hall of w00ts: (6) Has an alternative path to the straight jumps across. May be too narrow for its own good. Honey I Shrunk the w00t: (3) Mi-me map, nothing really exciting here. Moving on... Hunt for the w00t October: (2.5) Yes, two submarines. Flag carriers in the water can really slow things down here. Nuclear Soup: (6.5) Multiple jumppads, some hidden some obvious, contribute to gameplay. Phobos w00t: (5) Having the flag platform off to the side in a nice change of pace. Squarew00t: (5.5) Gives a pretty good match-some Z axis. W00ting in the Sky with Insta: (4) Just isn't as enjoyable as most of the others somehow... W00tious: (4) Plays smaller than it looks. W00tagonal: (6.5) Comparable in gameplay to Nuclear Soup... W00t Ankh Amun (7.0 for idea, 5.5 for execution) The largest, and the one I keep coming back to. Multiple lines of attack, plenty of Z-axis, best gameplay value, but has bugs, starting with numerous invisible walls. In the middle are two alcoves where dropped flags don't get autoreturned and attackers can't retrieve them.
I wish I knew how the code for returns works. Sometimes flags drop into the poison water and get returned to nearest pathnode, other times they get teleported back to the base, with the location of the drop not seeming to have an consistency of outcome.
Overall some fun to have here to be sure, if this kind of gameplay is your bag.
