It is a remake of the classic Quake 2 level of the same name, but has a slew of layout changes as well as all new visuals. The gameplay is focused on a highly interactive environment bended with a solid deathmatch layout. There are some glitches that are still there from when it was released with the UCMP, but they are minor and have not been removed to maintain compatibility. I terribly don't want to puddle up your work on this level.I only would have chose another map. But why did you redo this one,even though I appreciate it,on how well you did the map. Map looks good, the author has done a level that nalicity readers can like,from being a so called redo(ware is chromeballs when you need him) AND I didn't like this map for "DM" back then,but thats just me,so the gamplay will suffer a tad for ut,because of different typs of game,not specificaly this map. And I did see the changes you did in there,and is good. Folks it's quake2 not 3 And I must add here,this map would be a real MoF_ to remake,and he got the coloration right as well. It would be only an average map if there weren't so many interesting ideas. I liked the moving parts. EisenKanzler 06-04-2005 04:19 AM MDT   This was my favorite q2dm map and it's good to see that people can remake other maps than q2dm1. The small changes you made work really well and I had loads of fun with my pals. now, if someone would remake q2dm2, q2dm3, q2dm6, q2dm7, and q2dm8, I can die a happy man (don't even think about q2dm4, that map was horrible). It's my least favorite of the pack. :/ nnock 01-26-2006 11:07 PM MST Rating: 7   Can't say I approve of some of the author's layout changes from the original, or the lighting, but all in all a good rendition of my second favorite Q2 map. 1st being "Tokay's Towers". * EisenKanzler ... Q2dm2 has been redone for 2k4. Look for "Tokays Towers". None of the other Q2 maps come up here at NaliCity. Somebody has to have done a remake of "The Edge" for UT2k4, come on! ;)
