| Charon 02-28-2005 07:42 AM MST | | first map, huh? don't worry;) you've should wait untill you make your 4th or 5th and then put it here
| Nytehawk 02-28-2005 12:38 PM MST | Rating: 5 | | I think what he meant to say was that the map could be improved and that you should read some more tutorials and check out the feedback section before posting your map here. :)
Keep at it, though, this map shows some promise.
| Pomperi 02-28-2005 02:23 PM MST | Rating: 5.5 | | You can tell from the architecture that this isn't your first map. However some stuff could really be improved such as the lighting. Those big lamps doesn't really cast much light, and the map is pretty bright in the areas where there are no light sources at all. The clouds in the skybox moves a bit too fast imo.
By the way, it's possible to escape through the window on the upper floor :P
Good luck on your coming maps ;)

Then fix the getting out of the window probs, and mabye make it a little more to it ,like some added hallways or somthing.it wouldnt be all that bad.
fix lighting windows make bigger.

| Deathbliss 08-08-2005 08:13 PM MDT | | Just tried this... Dude you got some good architecture going, but you have to work on your lighting. Make sure every source appears to be emitting the light in front of it - that each souce looks convincing. You should try bBrightCorners (in the surface properties) for starters. Next try using some more coloring, and finally work on matching your textures together.
Decent work overall - you have some skill and just need to develop it some more. To all the other tut links I will add my site: http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~nucleus/phpNuke/index.php
Keep at it! - Deathbliss
