| Rob 02-15-2005 04:48 PM MST | | Relax man. I have no idea who uploaded it (and this guy deserves a medal as everyone has this map already), but it's NOT Shrimp. Shrimp doesn't care about MH anymore.
| Derdak2rot 02-15-2005 07:58 PM MST | | I think i know who submitted this map . Isn't it Hermskii !! lol ! anyway its a good mh map !
| Hermskii 02-15-2005 08:02 PM MST | | I did not list myself as the author of this map and mentioned that it was part of the original MH mod made by Shrimp where in the readme that comes with the mod he credits himself with all of the maps except one MA map by a different mapper. Yes, everyone has this map already and the other 3 I sent today but I have found over years as an admin to never expect that anyone has everything they need. It's amazing to me how many servers are out there running files that you get in a bonus packs but they don't have it available for a high speed download. People try to conncet without the bonus pack files and they get a failed error "server refused to send file" or something like that. Too many people still playing on 56k for that. Show me any server that has a link to it that if you connect to it from a fresh install of UT patched up to 436(required for network play) that will send every single file a player needs in order to play that map whther they have the mod or not. You can't! That is you can't unless you point someone to either of my servers. I try to consider that not everyone has everything and put it on the redirect server for them. I really wish people would send in maps rather than complain about people who send in maps. Amazing to me the types of people who bite the hand that feed them. Kids who get cars from their parents and complain about the model or the age of the car. I worked for a car just as I'm working to give people a place to upload Monster Hunt maps. I have also tried to contact Shrimp but can't find a valid email address for him anywhere. I don't mean to sound too defensive but at least I have put up a server, I advertise this awesome mod to everyone, I got NaliCity to give us a space where these can collected for all to share, I play the map, take screenies for the NC folks to post, create a readme file if there isn't one available and take zero credit for it and take my time to arrange, zip, upload and everything and I'm not sure but except for a few old and new mappers (that are both doing awesome work) and the NaliCity team, I sometime feel like I'm the only one doing anything towards trying to grow this mod before it diasappears. OK, I'm done. Thanks for the venting oppertunity. Now please, right now, please upload at least one map you like for MH to NaliCity. Thank you.
| Ice-Dancer 02-15-2005 08:18 PM MST | | Congrats on getting the MH category Hermskii

And lots of blablabla following.
Eh, if people don't have this map anymore they're basically motards. Like said before this is a map which comes with the mod, and should be in everyone's possesion. If they decide on deleting it, and after a certain time desire to get it back they should be smart enough to either:
- Open the download zip file and extract the mod - reinstall MH through the umod. Suits them right.
Or at least have the brains to make a backup of a file if you're not sure if you plan on getting rid for it forever.
 So what's next, uploading all epic maps just because "some people don't have everything they need?"
**sarcasm**
Useless upload here, Hermmski.
| UTexplosive 04-22-2006 04:50 AM MDT | Rating: 7 | | This map is one of the few maps that came from the download for monster hunt. This map has a very carefully placed terrain. Also the part with the cave was also accuarate. It was a little hard to pass the warlord unless using mutators, large numbers of bots or doing the ugly (cheating). The boss at the end looked as if it was carved and brought to life (since it came from that melting platform) but good dificullty. One thing is the lack of health (only potions) so made the level a little challenging. Gave 7
