| Manticore 10-19-2004 02:47 AM MDT | Rating: 5.5 | | The map appears well constructed. As the mapper says it's probably good for a bit of Invasion.
| meowcat 10-19-2004 04:42 PM MDT | | Not too bad for a first map. I like the simplicity and the fact that it is not some space/futuristic metal tech hole. Bots even moved around reasonably well and sniped. However here are the things that I would recommend that the Author fix right away: Redo the brush work so that all of the brushes align to the grid (with the exception of the curved stair cases of course), Turn off the collision on the tree foliage (otherwise can't go near the trees without getting caught in them), use a terrain info for the ground instead of BSP based terrain (more detail, mounds etc without hurting FPS much more then BSP), convert the stairs to semisolids (less angled BSP cuts then), maybe add some trim to the windows and edges of the roof of each building. Also extremely important, add default music and some ambient sounds (like bugs, wind etc). The level was just too quiet otherwise.
