| sandorski 04-18-2004 09:46 PM MDT | Rating: 9 | | Agreed, great map. The sky seems kinda funky, but the rest makes up for it. A Must download!
| Toothpick 04-19-2004 09:52 AM MDT | Rating: 8 | | Very cool map! I love Tokara-maps, this one is awesome to.
But, I don't know.. Something with the sky, the air or the foliage -don't know- makes it look a bit dark and boring..
| Teh F1shb0t 04-20-2004 09:05 AM MDT | Rating: 7 | | I think this map is a bit overrated so far. Its a decent map, but nothing special. That meshes that make up the bases are just too ripped to get excited about, and the rest of the map is all green and dark, which makes it look plain and bland. I didnt like the way-too-lineair link setup either. Such a link setup is one big choke point, and often causes very long matches if the teams are even. Just one extra link, like one between the 2 corner nodes or so, would make it a lot more fun and exciting, so you can employ some more tactics and make choices instead of the grab-a-vehicle-and-attack-the-only-node style. But ow well, its not a bad map either. I had more fun on this map then on most maps with the same link setup. The bots play well and the weapons and vehicles are well placed. I liked the scorpions in this map. They are not that powerful, but really fun to drive around in. I like the shortcut between the bases and the middle node, which makes the link setup somewhat less linear.
| xanadu 04-29-2004 11:13 PM MDT | Rating: 5 | | This is an average map, i dont understand why it has such a high score....
| Klasnic 05-18-2004 05:22 PM MDT | Rating: 8 | | I found this map to be great fun... Very well laid out with quick access to multiple nodes. Okay it's a little dark but that's just nit picking. Overall I really couldn't find fault with it :p
| hunter 05-22-2004 03:32 AM MDT | Rating: 5 | | does everyone have badass computers to run this or something? my polys hover around 140,000, which cripples my poor machine trying to render them. it'd be ok if the map used those polys decently, but its just a shitload of static meshes. the clouds in the sky pan across at about 90 miles per hour as if in a hurricane, yet the hundreds of trees remain absolutely motionless. gameplay is saved by onslaught's inherent fun-nosity. whether the author strived for gameplay quality or not is up to you guys.
looks 4 gameplay 6 = 5
