| Amisa 12-20-2003 01:58 PM MST | Rating: 9 | | I've had to minimise the basic music of the game to hear that fine bagpipes. That's athmosphere ! There are some nice rooms, and the architecture looks good. Perhaps the exterior lighting is boring as original does in the fog ? Typical inventory is very fun among a lot of original (I think so ?)statismeshes! I have only a complain : why don't you put a ghost in such a castle ;-) ?
| Homeslice 12-21-2003 11:57 PM MST | Rating: 7 | | Not bad. Terrain work is good, and I liked some of the cool things here such as fireplaces, furniture and the Scottish flags, and I love those custom Health Packs and the bottles of whiskey acting as the Adrenaline. Too bad there was no music though, or my score would've been a tad higher. 7.5.

Nice terrain textures. The stonewall textures for the castle are superb (photographically speaking).
Excellent audio atmospheres including bagpipes. Pretty ok gameplay on this map too!
| capone 12-31-2003 02:19 AM MST | Rating: 5 | | Poor architecture, flat walls, tight corridors, simple layout of one stone texture? Not the thing I was waiting for downloadind more than 20MB. Would be nice for UT99, but detalisation is not enough for UT2003.

| Bounty 07-23-2004 11:37 PM MDT | Rating: 9.5 | | this map is definately worth a highlighted demo. Awsome theme and a job well done.
| KaiSeun 10-13-2004 10:52 PM MDT | Rating: 9 | | Once again, Angelhear amazes me with a realistic map. It feels like you are inside of the castle, and the surronding river, hills, and bridge complement the scenery quite nicely. This map is somewhat playable, and the bots aren't too shabby, but this map is still meant to be admired like art, just like his other maps.
I would say that the lighting is a bit dull outside the castle, and a heavier fog would have helped the atmosphere, not to mention add to the "among the hills" effect. Other than that, everything is clean and aligned well, as usual (although I didn't do a bit by bit search). One thing that would have been more realistic would perhaps be the lifts. Sure its for gameplay to have them automatically move, but perhaps a button, lever, or something that requires activation. That's just me being picky though.
I definitly liked this map, and I do play it once in a while. Whatever he makes next, I'll play it!
