Pleasantly powerful!! This baby is chock full of gaming goodness. The z-axis abounds, the atmosphere is intoxicating, and the bots will blow you away. The eye candy infiltrates every nook and cranny of this 6-player carnage; boasting some unique design that’s a welcome change.

With 5 bots on your tail, you won’t have much down time; the recommended player count is 4-6. I enjoyed all the height advantages and strategic points to get the drop on the enemy. The flow was pretty good; I wanted more at times, but eventually realized that there was a nice mix of openness for autonomy, and corners to get trapped in. My only problem came around the lift area when I didn’t watch my step and it came bumping back down; other than that, it was smooth sailing.

The struggle to leap for the rocket launcher added some nice gameplay, and I found a nice, high spot to lob green goo at foes below. The screenshots provide you with a glimpse of the great atmosphere the map provides, but to really enjoy all the thrills, you’ll have to download it for yourself.

I'm impressed.. I like the layout and the visuals are very well done.. not too cluttered, but not too boring - lighting feels natural enough and the reflection in that pool is a nice touch. Although the theme is somewhat overused (abaddon / humanoid architecture) it's still a good one. Great fun in a 5-6 way DM.

Lots of fun here! High quality, better than some (many) maps that shipped with UT2k3. Lots of psychology usable here when paying this on LAN with my buds!

Solid but not excellent visuals, and I find the gameplay rather crappy. 6.5

Thanks for the review and comments. There is a 2k4 version of this over at UP, if you're interested.

Well the zip file is the same size as the map or somthing going on there.
It's too rampy has no sense of direction feels like your going but going ware?
Also the rockets hit the sky
Not too bad needs to be opened up slightly in the middle sorta for better dm action.

I wasn't miserable despite the fact that one of the bots didn't enjoy its pathing and hung up between two nodes. Good visuals and sounds.

Hey Stevo! This map is pretty fun. But remember when you made CTF-Noork for UT? Floating the remake idea...
