There are lots of intertwining hallways and a reactor core which sort of serves as an arena space within the map. Much of the map takes place on two levels so there is quite a bit of z-axis fighting. Also, there are two rooms littered with old junk from the freighter's heyday. | The_Guru 07-20-2003 10:42 AM MDT | | It's not really a big deal, but I was wondering why the screenshots for my maps always have messed up colors on this site. Namely that shades of red always show up as shades of blue. Does anyone else have this problem or am I doing something wrong?
[Admin: A certain type of texture compression causes problems with blue and red. ]

You see the same meshes over..and over..and over...in long halls...turn there they go again..over and over...with the same lighting. All these halls are very long and connect but since they all look the same there is no telling where the hell you're going and what weapon you're trying to find.The Z-axis is limited in the more open spot because if annoying rails. Central area has the best visuals you'll get in this map. (Pic with the green lightning )
| brighteyes 12-28-2003 10:21 AM MST | Rating: 6 | | Looks good but it is way too repetitive. The junkyard area is cluttered and it is very easy to get stuck on the rubbish. The best thing about this map it is the central 'core' area which looks good and offers an entertaining area to fight within.
| Manticore 12-29-2003 12:50 AM MST | Rating: 8 | | A deceptively big map but there are enough paths for good gameplay. The tunnels are long and expansive but there are enough corners for cover.
Good visuals. The central core lightning and circuit boxes look like they come from Alien Resurrection (the videogame not the movie).
Good job. Fun map...
