Dog meat with bone.

2vs2 is better than Raw sushi is what the intro reads. Since I like my fish hot, I would tend to agree. CTF-Raw is a small cap map done in the industro-basement style; concrete walls, diamond plate floors and rusted iron trim. Plenty of Z-axis is mitigated by a sub-dividing wall, forcing traffic beneath to the opposing bases. The cenral cellar clusters a concatenation of ramps, steps, catwalks, ledges, receases and columns for a compressed laberynth for the ensuing fracas. Lense flares rake across your view with the grazing contrasts from abundant low radius light sources in this below ground. I adjusted gamma and saturation in my screenshots to make geometry visible, compare these to the maps intro pics above.

Im actually pleased with the build of the tight confines provided; Brush use and custom meshes are exicuted nicely, AI and Item placement of acceptable levels, and a few movers in the form of decoration and lifts are present. Detracting would be the option for pale greened glass instaed of translucent stained portals to an ommited skybox. An obvious missed oppurtunity IMO, however could be argued pro gameplay over the added visuals so will not conjector any longer.

As a competitive level, only the lighting hinders play. A single spawn area per side affords spawn killers to cover the five player starts easily. Escaping these campers is provided by a near drop taking fresh contestants into the middle zone, also useful for rejoining the chase if your flag has been snagged, as happens quickly because of the short distances between bases. Most times flag carriers will need to duke it out to decide the outcome on smaller player loads, especially if you tackle this map 1-on-1. 2 vs 2 was the best parlance this map had to offer. The roles of offense and defense rapidly decided. With no where to hide the only option is to run.

Even though this map is tiny, I thought it was a lot of fun to play.
Those textures are the ugliest ones I've ever seen.
The only problem is that you can get caught easily,when you have the flag, in such a cramped map.

Not the biggest map, but what's there is pretty solid. Plenty of z-axis, too.

I agree 100%- solid, solid work. Gameplay is great, and visuals, while somewhat plain, are appropriate and basically free of visual errors(bsp holes, HOMs, misalignments, etc).

Whoa!!11! This is one mean adrenaline rusher... And has some strange kind of atmosphere and original layout as well. And, it's 7.5 actually.

solid stuff like people have already said but nothing really special. W3rd atmosphere with the music. And I'm really not a fan of that window texture, doesn't look real at all imo. Would much prefer an actual transparent window instead.
