Why must people make maps with names like this? SURELY these people must have some ability to think and work out that no-one cares about some frog stmpt tree town thing. The map sounds like something a 4 year old would say. Now please, think before you do something faggotish.

This is one of the ugliest maps I've ever seen. Very basic. Couple of round rooms with plain straight walls, square room with some water and a ramp. No theme. Odd floating platform with weird red or white skybox things going on. Someone said named by a 4 year old - probably made by one too...

if you played the map, youd probably change your rating to 0. its not that its bad mappage, its like what the prophet said about a sick sense of humor at work here. This map is not in good taste, even if it were built good.

I disagree with you all. This map is very different from most others. Game play is pretty good for a first time mapper. We should really give more credit to the newbie map makers. How many nerds were criticized and ridiculed by others for their creations when those people were creating games like UT. This guy could only get BETTER at map making. And besides, how often do you see palm trees in outerspace?
What I beleive deserves true "0" ratings are the people who submit maps with missing files and therfore making them impossible to play - Or the people who blatently rip off someone elses map and makes insignificant changes then calls it their own.
At least this won is original, and it works.

Okay - now for my two cents for whatever they are worth.
Nope - couldn't find a stump at all. Hmmmm!!! Perhaps the boxes in the corner in the Hamlet should have been the stump. Items I couldn't find, Thigh Pads, Body Armour, Sniper Rifle and Keg-O-Health. The mapper is correct that the bots don't use the water but you should - there is a Damage Amp and a secret room with Health Vials and Jump Boots. Did everyone find the Deemer?
My buddy and I play about 20 to 30 different maps a week - some on Tuesday and some on Saturday and we play them blind. We had so much fun Fraggin' each other and the two bots that we play with that we went through this one 3 times the first time we had it in rotation. We found the action fast and furious and the amazing thing is - .... everything works!!! We find that amazing in itself. No choking on high polys etc. Unlike some maps from experienced mappers - some of which have even crashed the program. Even the bots are pretty well pathed as they get around pretty well. As the author says though they don't seem to like the water and I have yet to see one go for the deemer - mind you we only play on experiecned level so perhaps they have to be kicked up a notch or two for that. This one is on our "Let's play it again list"
I couln't reach the far platform with the aircraft etc but then again - I haven't been able to use it anyway. Yeah I turned on "Fly" and went over to scope it out. So shoot me.
Author says ideal player load of 5-13 - I belive that to be to many and either 1 on 1 or a load of 4 is more like it. He also mentions that it is a large map. Not! we found it tight and fast and furious with 3 different small areas to go to. A nice chage of pace after spending the past 45 minutes or so playing a huge Urban Warfare Night Map hunting my buddy and two bots. BTW we set our frags to 15 not 30.
I have found that all elements to a map are there and work and work properly. This mapper needs encouragement. If you critisize please do so constructivy not destructivly. Not being a mapper - sniff - I can't - no tools - Macintosh Platform. Maybe with UT2004? I know that constuctive critisizm pays off bigtime.
We give it a 6 for the playability and fun factor and that it really works - no dead end transporters or sorry but that doesn't work type of message or getting stuck somewhere and no way out. We say to the author - "Keep Mapping" you will make the experts happy sometime and if not ....... - if you have fun with it - submit it and perhaps my buddy and I will play it and have some more fun.

Well, I expected worse by reading the review/comments.
It's... a composition of rooms and stuff. You have all weapons, they're thrown around, there is a campfire...
there is "danger". Oh yes, there is.
Doesn't look like this thing can be played, well.. soime people can claim this thing actually "plays", but .. what definition of gameplay those people have.. I do not want to know.
But tbh I've seen worse, much worse. Oh yes 0_0
Try the godz-gauntlet maps for the monsterhunt mod, you'll want to kill yourself within 5 seconds.
If you're a sane person that is.

I can see what you where trying to do,make a swamp like level? Well first It needs to be bigger,the water looked like ice which I thought was cool. However,its on top of a city? If you need more help look at other levels. Like face is on a rock in space,that makes sense its cool. Don't copy though. Don't be in a rush either. I will regret the day when i'll send in my first map..
