A large map: the author suggests 12-34 players. This is one of the few large, outdoor maps that I've seen that has good framerates. This is due to its simplistic design, which is keeping the poly count low, and some smart layout by its creator. I played the map with 16 and it wasn't all that busy, so you might want to add some more suckers if you like it gibalicious. The lighting was simple, but close attention was paid to light sources, for the most part. Item placement is fine, and snipers should feel at home, or even you nukers. A few structures augment the caves, so you can fight up close at times, hide if you're a little girly man, or stand around out in the open until someone blows your head off. If you like big, outdoor maps that will play smoothly, consider this one. A blank music file is included so you can hear all the ambient sounds. |
