What we've got here is, according to the author, a 1on1 level but due to the content of the map (I'll explain latter) I guess 4 players suits better. The map is set in what appears to be some kind of old and decadent construction on the mountains. Some things should be gone for this map to become a real 1on1. Things like that annoying skaarj, and the two traps that are waiting to be activated. Yes, I cant imagine a serious duel where players are more concentrated on crushing foes when they're underwater going for the belt or admiring how the skaarj pwns whoever that dares to pick the keg'o health (not sure but I guess that skaarj has infinite health so stop shooting at him, you tough guy!). Even if these things feel a little gimmick, they're well done so it’s not a real problem. I felt the lighting was a bit dark throughout the map but it adds to the atmosphere rather than become annoying. To conclude, I'll say that even not being the greatest looking map, its above average and a good attempt at 1on1 mapping.

I couldn’t see misaligned brushes during my usual visit to the map from the editor. Neither did I see coronas for all the lights or hear more than two ambient sounds (oh did I mention that both ambient sounds are playing the same sound effect?). The triggers are well configured so the traps seem to work well. No real complaints in this department.
Cast: 2.5
the polycount is not too high in this map so you'll play smoothly no matter how much action is going on in front of you. Bots went everywhere and took everything etc. Maybe items are a bit out of you way to victory and could use a revision but at it wont hurt you (oh wait, dive in a flooded hole just to get the thigh pads is not flow-friendly). I'd recommend this map for little fragfests with some buddies better that for some serious duels. Hehe it feels so good to crush your (ex)best friend when he's on his way to the belt... OH! And don’t forget to take a look trough the windows to see the fornicating rabbit couple and the defecating ( |

Well, it's not just the screenshots that are too dark, part of the map is very dark as well. I would have given this map a 9, were it not for the dark areas, the skaarj that only attacks players and not bots, and the fact that one bot got stuck in a place that I couldn't find in a 15 minutes search. The looks of this map, however, are astounding...
