Map DescriptionThis is my first map. A small warhouse type map. Thin Planks to walk upon up ahead,
and a sniper area which has a dangerous view to alot of the map. The powerups,
shield belt and amplifier hidden, shield belt not so much. Just get under the
waters.

Problems: Is very cramped and quite a few weapons in unnecessary areas. And
some teleporters make the map a little easy. And the cramped lava area becomes
quite useless after you leave it.

Other than that. That map is fine.
And special thanks to Acid_Spudnik for helping me out.

now...to be honest I would say that this map isnt the best I've seen....It has pretty nice flow (A bit clunky at times but still very nice flow) good for a first time map. I can't say that I haven't seen better but for a beginner map its ok. Used all of the techniques I taught you...I can tell...you used every one of them...sometimes its best to keep things in moderation dont ya think?...but still...I digress...nice map for a first time :) I look forward to seeing what you'll next do.

I give it a 3. You've got some gameplay but still the map looks extremely bad. Try to use lighting next time as most of those textures are/look unlit. And also, add more details to your architecture so it won't look like a random mass of material. ;) Good luck on your next map. I wish to see improvements. ;)

Well I wil be generous a 3 tops.
ONLY because of the geometry and some of the ideas you came up with.
However a "3D" world from a flat screen needs as much 3D depicting as possible.
Meaning, lighting is the MOST crucial factor to see 3D.
Your map is bad on all aspects accept geometry and ideas.
I ain't asking for a pro, but nicer lighting is and would of been for this map a big plus.

I did not analyze gameplay or bots.a 3 for brushwork-firstmap.

For the first maps isnĀ“t bad at all. Try replace the textures for other better ones, and add a good music. It will looks much better.

I screenshots look really ugly... I suggest to go to home depot and get some better lighting, it would really improve this map.
