When you go to extract the files it creates a new folder inside the destination folder, and then you have to move it again for ut to see it. edit: Played it. Really nice map. I like it. Seems you have quite some experience creating layouts and having the architecture beautify the whole thing. Looks kinda quake-ish to me. Now the flaws: You definitely overused the align-to-floor-function, I wouldn't advice to use it to align the ceiling textures of vaults and steep surfaces to save them from being overstretched. You should rather use the calibrate.pcx located in the utartfx package to align them. The elevators are too slow imho. about the player-start-alkovens: do you want your map to be a spawn campers paradise by showing them where to wait? I don't think so. "The location of playerstart, or spawn points, should not be an obvious thing to players. [..] You should do this with weapons, but if you do it with playerstarts then you’re only encouraging spawn killers." CliffyB at http://www.cliffyb.com/rants/ut-ld-tips.shtml I would've used another texture set btw.

I can also recommend you to use MyLevel for all your custom stuff to prevent people from raping their ut-folders. All in all, a good map but it could be greatly improved with better lighting.
| GTD-Carthage 11-23-2005 05:51 AM MST | | I noticed you had two lightweight texture packages. Rather than making separate packages for every single texture or few dozens of textures, just emb your textures in your level. (MyLevel package)
| redfist 11-23-2005 11:35 AM MST | | Ah before you get confused, don't save the texture file at all, in unreal engine the word "mylevel" for any thing like sounds or other things will automaticaly embed it right into your map.
(you may know this, but just incase).
