This map manages to handle the visual theme well, has a good layout for gameplay and runs wells.

Well done industrial theme with a nice layout and a smaller but not too small size. The scale feels pretty much perfect and hitscan isn't overly powerful like most other maps. The amp doesn't belong in 1v1 though, and the map lacks a 50a.

This is not my theme but i can tell it is well made, and truly done by a pro very nice work. Shame about the theme but your other dm maps sure make up for it.

Tried this map with 2v2 and it was quite fun. I liked how you seemed to use meshes we've seen in other levels in a fresh, new way. Bots played well and the music was appropriate. Weapon layout also seemed fine.

Still, a few criticisms. I would have liked to see some more shadow work. There are certainly some areas for it (the windows facing outside, the skylights, rotating fans, etc) but there aren't any dramatic shadows making it seem just a bit flat. I enjoy the steam spewing out of the vents, but there's one area where the steam clips through the floor above and looks odd. Lastly, I couldn't get a good feel for where health was in this level - either there wasn't enough or it wasn't positioned in a way where I could remember where it was.

redfist > This is true. Because static meshes are generally vertex-lit, you don't get as fine a shadow as you would on BSP geometry. This level appears to have many BSP floors, so it's totally doable to have nice shadows on them if the author sets the light map size to 4.0.

OFF TOPIC ,Slightly,
I read this stuff about the shadows and looks around these days.
(and seen-played a lot maps in my lifetime)
I do believe this could be a good tip ,as I understand it,I could be wrong.
BUT ! if the floor lets say is BSP the shadows are calculated within the build of the map.prehand

The meshes are rendered so shadows become a problem,too much data for realtime shadows,considering the ammount of polys for a staticmesh.Also there some sttings fot the staticmesh you should change if you resize the mesh,to make things look natural.

So use meshes on a bsp surface in areas you think it would be cool to have ggood shadows.
And stop picking stupid shiny textures for floors and things,wich look dumb as hell,they also may be the trouble of having non cool shadows and 3d mappage.
Use some ordinary texture for a good shadow spot as well .

GG Helper, once again. Your helping alot. 5 months of work for that line.

I really love this map, the layout is very nice though, it feels a little cramped. You have done so much work in it. good item placment and at least. A download worthy for sure. Espicaly for the eyecandy lovers.

I love this map, and I don't even like 1v1 games. Its absolutely gorgeous, and it plays wonderfully. Nice work.

A good map, everyting it's well done, but that's all.
I am missing in this map something that made me stop and say... 'Uhm... that's interesting'. Maybe a more spectacular lighting or a new layout offering different gameplay... I'm not sure what I'm missing, but I feel the lack of something... :/
I think the placement could have made of all the z-axis something much more interesting...
But, overall, a very nice work, well worth the download. :)
Btw, I did not see any important bug, just a couple of emitters going through the floor near the LightingGun...

Despite the minor flaws mantioned before, this map has a nice layout and is very fun to play. Good one!
