1/27/05 Thanks for all of the kind words and suggestions. The reason this map exists is due to all of the "4 hour" maps I see on the servers (some turf, some bases, splash some textures around and Bingo...done!). So, I tried my hand at making a quick and dirty "4 hour" map My time limit was 4 hours, but this map took 5 hours and 37 mins so I missed my goal. Oh, this is the second map...but the first original one.
I like the one choke point maps as it always seems harder to take the main base later. And, instead of driving in the front door of the center node, there are two areas of the Crater that allows for the vehicles (and foot troops) to be driven over for sniping or "Land" in the center node. The center node IS overpowered...becaused my friends and I played it with enemy on the rim, flying overhead and coming through the front door...and it still isn't enought! LOL!

I did not like: - Terrain work is great if it is the 1st author's map. However, I feel the texture used in the hills quite overused. A little more visual difference between sides would have been better... - The buildings could be better, but they look well. Anyway the grey theme is not my favourite... - I miss more healthpacks and not so many shields. I miss a few more vehicles too. - There is only one way to attack the center node with ground vehicles, and this node is really overloaded with 4 turrets! The other nodes have turrets too. In my opinion, only two turrets around each core is enough... - Only one link setup :( It could have been better. Anyway, it's a good work to be the author's first
