The main thing that has changed (for the better) is the framerate, due to the use of anti-portals, zone-portals, and generally less emitters, the framerate is a lot better. Lots of smaller things have also been fixed, like some texture alignment, botpathing and sound errors.

| W@rdw@rf 12-20-2004 01:33 PM MST | Rating: 7 | | Nice map. The visuals were sometimes good, but sometimes rather boring, too. In my opinion, there are too much health vials and health chargers. The bot-pathing is done well, but they don't make the lift jumps up to the roof.
So all in all I liked the map but the visuals and the botpathing could be better.

The buildings look too geometrical & some more meshes would be nice. Some parts with terrain are good. - Framerates are very good, but in DM I prefer a bit more smooth levels. - The water does not reflect this level... - The 100BigHealth is really near the 100BigShield.

I really enjoyed this map. I thought the flow and gameplay were really good. The only part you need to work on is the visuals. As was already mentioned, the visuals and lighting here are ok but they could be a bit better.
Get more creative with the lighting and try to position the lights to get some interesting shadows and patterns. Don't just place the light because that part of the map is dark, but at this stage of skill you should try to plan out your lighting a little better.
Some of the terrain could have been better, especially the terrain part without the water. It didn't look very realistic (like it was just cutting into the ground and continued) and could have been done with more care, imo.
As for the architecture, the bsp work was there but more well-placed meshes could have livened the place up a bit. Also, the roofs of the buildings were quite bare and need a facelift. You probably should have put some architecture or meshes up there.
All things considered, however, this is an above average map with noteworthy gameplay. I'd say its worth a download.
