Dead Man Walking 09-11-2004 03:02 PM MDT Rating: 8   WOW, Fast and fun. I played this map using 32 bots and it was exciting. Big enough to support all 32 and small enough to keep the action going. You really feel like you are in this environment. The sandy wind blowing over the rocks which makes a sign move to the wind. Great effect. the bots play well but the paths are a bit small and is hard to get vehicals around in some areas. The looks are a bit monotone but thats what I exspect to see in a sand storm in the mountains. I give it an 8. Carny 09-11-2004 10:45 PM MDT Rating: 8.5   Simply stunning. The sandstorm effect is well done and while I don't particularly like some areas in the terrain, those areas do well to control what vehicles go where. The bases are simple and effective and the node layout works well for this map. I like the attention to details with the blowing objects. Custom music was also a nice change from the standard stuff.
