Nicely done, but I think that the lack of antiportals in the map really slows the framerates beyond reason.

God, would you people stop saying it's identical. Sure, it looks identical, but look at the actual differences. I think this is a great remake, NOT A LAZY ONE. This is like when some guy made DM-Peak for 2003... everybody says he's very lazy, but there are lots of noticable differences!

The author now knows to credit the original authors, so that is better than nothing. And I liked this conversion of Gothic. Some cool stuff to see here.

There are a handfull of good remakes around, unfortunately this isn't one of them. Rooms feel wrong (proportions and scale are off) and several important corridors are missing. Texturing and lighting aren't very good either. Doubled up rug texture looks especially bad. Zoning and antiportals need a lot of work too. Definately not a straight T3D conversion like the remake haters claim.

DM-Gothic2k3 has been totally re-done and has is waiting for the rest of the ut classic map pack to be completed. Anti portals have been added, certain areas re-sized, lighting re-done, new meshes from aristocracy (with authors permission)and totally re-pathed.
And the people saying i haven't given credit to the author, jsut check the readme i'm 99% sure that i have given credit to shane in there!
Personally i thought the map was good, but could look a lot better and so it has been done. Lots more meshes are now in the map and the bots put up a damn good fight!
Homeslice, you can give thunderstrike somethnig to moan about, my ut classic map pack is coming out soon, and btw- can you set my status at insite so i can leave comments?
