I'm not a huge fan of either Domination maps or Gothic style maps, and I've certainly never had the opportunity to play a map that combined both of those things. But you know what? I like it! If I wouldn't have had to download and install it, I could've have sworn this map came with UT.

DOM-Synchronicity][ is an amazingly good looking gothic map, every single visual aspect of this map is stunning. The architecture is very solid and well done, with no noticable errors, and is very consistent throughout the entire map. Textures are second to none, all aligned extremely well, and obviously fit the style of the map perfectly. But I would have to say the lightning in DOM-Synchronicity][ is the best aspect of it visually. From sublte purple hues to areas with cold white moonlight, the lightning adds an incredible amount to the atmosphere of the map. In addition, the music is well picked, and occasionally you can hear a eerie ghostly moaning sound in the background. Nice touch.

Gameplay wise, this map is a little bit more lacking than it was visually, but you can say that about almost any map. I found it very challenging and engaging to win against the bots, as they are masterfully pathed and most certainly kicked my ass. I never found myself with an excess or a lack of ammo, which made the map even more fun.

No_ReMoRsE has also included a bunch of little secrets in the map, which I really enjoyed discovering, see if you can find them all. Some of them are plain ingenious. Taking everything into consideration, all I can say is, download this map now! You wont be sorry, even if you don't like domination maps to begin with.
