| Sicko Teddy 03-13-2004 02:38 PM MST | Rating: 7 | | I played that level. I was interested in the level with trains, so here it is. The overall job is fine. There are many spots, where you put some time detailing, while other spots look sort of plain. Both trains are well done though. What I didn't like was the surrounding environment, where trains are running. You could make a daytime environment. But why there are no rails. Both trins seems to be speeding over a flat hallway with two walls. You could add something like extra hills or so. I like the way you made missiles launch from train. You could make more interesting ending scene. The bot pathing is good. Some places of the layout are a little narrow, which causes a spaming points like in guardia. NO bucks or BSP errors found. So all in all this is a pretty nice level. PS- you better add screenshot and description for your map, because it atract viewers. I looked only because I expected to see trains +the file size looked promising. (: keep it up yo!
EDIT_--- The hils, not the cone type but more like a continuous row . + you can make a terrain mesh in 3D max or else, texture it and bind it as a cylinder imprt it and place it into the skybox. I'm currently trying it! ( :
| Carbohydrates 03-13-2004 03:38 AM MST | Rating: 7 | | I agree with everything said above, except: It's not possible to add hills and stuff the way the map is made, it's walls with the texture panning across quickly, like AS-HiSpeed (which, from the texture selection, was probably the base of this map).
