I download this map a lot of time ago at Insite. I never saw this at NC, maybe he forgot to upload it. Anyway, this is a really good map. I want to play more before rating...

Well, it WAS good when he first released it... For today's standarts some flat walls with colorful textures are nothing special, although this maybe still looks quite funny.

You've got to be kidding me, this map was craptastic then and now, how a guy like David M could even make a gay map like this I don't understand. Whats next DM-MyLittlePony-Land. I can not stand mappers who don't try to make maps that would actually fit into an UNREAL world, this map just looks stupid, sorry.

EDIT: i'm always for new stuff, weird if it must, as long as it plays (no EXCLUSIVELY gimmick maps). And on that point i see no harm in using Lego - besides, a good player will win on any given map, not whine because it lost in a silly themed map :) That said, i understand than many people will bash this because its Lego... but then again... there's hardly a decent Unreal-themed map out there for UT ;)

Don't pay any attention to Indy, The maps out there that are usually the best seem to think outside the box. The developers designed the game for any type of game and to be able to branch out to everything imaginable. Great job David!

Everyone fails to see that the graphics and theme are unimportant in this map. The point of the map was to create great gameplay and it succeeded briliantly in that. The floorplan and gameplay it offers is really great altho more tricks and audio alarms would have been nice. The graphics never were awesome, they were just solid back then and still are now. Prefference of theme is purely opinion and opinion is irrelevant. Whether you preffer castles or space stations isnt important, its about if the theme is executed well or not and it certainly is in this level and therefore its good

I'm with Nahand and Hourences; it doesn't matter what the theme is it only matters how well the author manages to pull it off and in this case DavidM Managed to do it brilliantly, I especially like the huge spot lamp great touch. And IMO this map is one of the best 1on1 maps out there. But the shield belt is a bit too much for a 1on1 map, and it's placement isn't very good I think it should've been closer to the center of the map. And the Z-axis is just sweet. Great map.

I'd not have ever thought I*d ever say positive things about the man who said DM-Anubis was bad but... Saying this one is crap ain*t true, same like saying it*s awesome just because of the author. Some don*t seem to get the message of this map, and hence dunno how to rate/handle it. I don*t find a map build of Lego by an elite could be more obviously indicate that it*s a parody of himself and his work, he as creator of usually serious stuff. Not only by putting his own pic inside with a trap who tries to shoot it - like "I am untouchable, acknowledge" but also as he seemed to have scanned his own old legos from his cellar, saying "Look. These were mine. Some personal message. Sayin "Back when I was a kid I already loved to construct things, and here am I now." It*s done for fun, hence he didn*t work it out to perfection, just supposed to make people be suprised and laugh about his creativity. The fun of fact that HE created it is a 10 I think. No one would expect him to come up with a map like this. However the floorplan ain*t the big hit to me. Considering the rocket combats i had on this (tiny) one with rocket combat on DM-BloodyBlocks this one can*t stand a chance. Blocks is superior both in Design as in layout and gameplay, but if he*d wanted this to compete with another lego map at all, I know he*d been able to win by putting a totally other concept into it. Compare this to elite maps, this is crap. Compare this to other fun maps, it is elite. David went his own way when doing this.

Love the layout and just ignore the texturing. Somehow I can picture this retextured in wood and stone. Nice map.

Add me to the list of zero posters for this one. Terrible map, looks and gameplay. I allways hated these things, servers who run it allways have some nonstock mutators or whatever, yuck just yuck.
Just replayed this, definitly yuck,HOM up above in skybox too, wish I had all those reasons why some of my maps were good, what a joke sheesh. changing back to a zero, 1 HOM is far below the elite mappers mapping pro-ness right?
