If you need to change the pan speed, enter the Level Properities (F6) and, under the Zonelight menu, change the TexUPanSpeed and TexVPanSpeed from 1 to 4 or 5 or 60.
Add some trims, and AmbientSounds (KeyPoint - AmbientSound - open it and change the ambientsound in the Sound menu). This map also needs more light colors, not only a boring white. There isn't a lot of brushwork, most of them are cubes and there is few curves (it's curios to see that to make ramps you rotate the brush instead of moving the vertices). Really basic. Luckily there aren't HOMs or other BSP Holes.
To make visible slime falls, use special Lits.
The health vials are anti-flow and they are too many (20...) The bots aren't too bad, but they can do better. There are too many sludge barrels and steel boxes.
I don't rate it, because it's an unfinished map.

Actually 2.5 is my rating of this map. Try to work on a map more than 45 minutes, and if the map isn't decent don't submit it. Read a lot of tutorials on Unreal Wiki (try this: http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/wiki/Category_Mapping ) and take examples from the others maps (NOT ripping them).

As for the map, it looks exactly the same as the first version only now it has annoyingly loud ambient sounds.

I understand that alot of clan mappers do this, deathstorm, but I still think that people should, at the very least, give the creators some credit for the song.
| {SpY}Infallible 04-27-2006 08:45 PM MDT | | New map coming, gonna have custom textures and custom music...=), hopefully it will be on nalicity soon. it'll be 1on1 again, but the way i'm planning it it will be better for that type of gamestyle. What ive changed is ive added bubbling sounds, like A_Z suggested in last version, and now theres no unsourced light ;) thx for suggestions A_Z.
Edit: I realize this isnt my best map, but this was my first 1on1, space station was my second. im trying to get a new map done that will be alot better (hopefully).

Sorry but I can*t say either that this one gave me the thrills, while I really liked Space Station for it*s gameplay, this time, the ceiling is really TOO low. Or do you prefer reg UT meanwhile over Lowgrav? ;) As this is a 1on1 I see why you have chosen a small layout but then, you better had made up another environment. Because, when I think of a refinary it is something big, like a hall with 2 floors and with pool in the middle, with robot crane arm over the pool (to grab and move barrels, well, think about the lava alike pook with ledge in DM- Conveyor. Also, I wondered why should the toxine run through the grate where the personnel walks? All a bit very tiny, and hence, theres not really a feeling of enjoyability in this one. @XYZ - THat*s a truely constructive comment, not only taking the time to point things out in detail but also telling a number of how-to-do's :)

there are over a 1000 (if not 1.000.000) converted song .mp3 files to .umx with a clan tag on it, simply because they converted it (i think this is normal). altho i didn't c the name of the umc file, did he jsut tag it Spy.umx or something? cause i would do it => *clantag*Apul-down.umx ;)
anyway, i won't test the map, cause i still consider infallible needs parctise, and infallible, pls don't upload maps you don't consider finisher you'reself ;)
