| GTD-Carthage 03-26-2006 03:39 AM MST | | Wow, if it wasn't for that tree, I would've thought it was Doom 3. LOL
| Kantham 03-27-2006 06:20 PM MST | | Meshe from UT2003 scaled up, Far.usx tree, some random DESP meshe put in there. Looks interessing on the screenshot, but 2on2 ONS is a no-no. No wonder why no one made 2on2 ons maps.
EDIT: you probably don't play much online. But after the prefix 'ONS-' there should'nt be any 1on1 or 2on2, but the map name. It's very lame to have to play a gametype that usualy play with 10 players minimum with now 4 players only. Do what you want, and if you think it can be done right, then think what you want. Especially that your map have 5 nodes.
Focus on the real onslaught gameplay, you will find it easy to map for. And every ons player will want to download it.
| pseudosafari 03-27-2006 09:01 AM MST | | Yeah the visuals and gameplay really aren't top notch I'll admit. This was my first go at an Onslaught map and I was just trying to familiarise myself with the ins-and-outs of the gametype. I probably should have had some discretion and not released this but rather cynically figured that it met the standard of some other crap maps out there and so inflicted it on the public in the hopes someone may run it. I guess it's time for a new alias so I can't be traced to this... However I'd still appreciate if people could download and give comments!
EDIT: @Kantham Why is 2on2 ONS a no-no? Even if you think this particular map fails for 2v2 it doesn't necissarily mean that low player onslaught can't be done right.
