| Turns2Ashes 02-20-2006 02:17 PM MST | Rating: 8 | | Nice visuals you've got going on, and I'm glad to see that lowering the detail ups the framerates quite noticeably. Gameplay is... okay. I don't like wide-open maps like this as hitscan becomes too much of an issue, but I can see it being fun regardless. It's also really easy to exploit the map with shield dodges that take you more than halfway across the map from the flag cliff, but that's to be expected with a map designed like this.

In Maya, or the 3d desing program, how do you assign vertices to have different colors? You know, so that you can blend with coordinate sources and whatnot? If I can find out how to make meshes' textures blend, I will know almost everything it takes to do modeling and meshes.
