It's located in the outside water's of an ocean, surrounded by some smaller islands. The arena is restricted on one big island. Gameplay is both fast paced and tactical. Bots are supported and know how to find their way. 5 different Assault paths through the map. Everyone has it's advantages (shields, health, weapons) and it's disadvantages (less hiding possibilities, longer distance) I've added a lot of eye candy, e.g. the architecture, the emitters, flora.
A Tribute
Paradise - Everyone of us has other associations and imaginations of this word. It describes for the most people a place where everything is allright, where peace and silence rules, where all problems seems to be forbidden. For others it's just the place where all their dreams and wishes come true. Dreams and wishes...that's the point, which inspired me for this map. On the one hand my girlfriend Helen, on the other hand my life, which got a bit better and more hopefull. Dear Unreal Tournament 2004 community, I want to present you CTF-Paradise.
Special thanks to Helen Horn, my appreciate girl friend - Inspiration and mental support =D Phillip "DePhill" Wienczowski, the best friend you can imagine - beta testing, bug-killing, the AWESOME wallpaper and the ingame screenshots ;-) Thanks to god, those people really support me!

| Turns2Ashes 02-20-2006 02:14 PM MST | Rating: 7 | | Looks good, but gameplay is fairly awkward. I've never liked terrain-based CTF, though. This particular map is pretty easily exploited by a shield jump from the lightning gun area that can take you halfway across the map. I also severely dislike random powerup spawns (especially ones with the amp!) as they always hurt the flow. You have staircase issues, as one of those other guys mentioned... Can't walk up some of them. :(

This map has some good potential, but lights are too bright (makes the ramps really ugly) en spawning is horrible. Why does the red team spawn in both bases? :S
EDIT: I'll download again later today, see if it's worth it now :)
