| John DiFool 02-17-2006 11:51 AM MST | Rating: 2 | | Plays pretty bad. Has one of the most poorly thought out layouts I've ever seen. It's like a big horseshoe-shaped arena with a wall in the middle. Two tunnels go through the wall, but only the one nearest the flags will ever see much action, and the horseshoe end is just wasted space, with the RL and belt as the only incentives to go down there.
EDIT: I'd redesign it so that it forms a complete loop, with the flags at each end, and tunnels through the middle. That'd give you 3 ways in. Kind of like this map: http://nalicity.beyondunreal.com/map_hub.php?mid=942
| STORM [PE 02-17-2006 12:06 AM MST | | Actually the outer pathway proves to be a strategic route when playing really frantic matches as it allows you to come in from a less guarded direction. I will admit that the layout was kind of a throw together but I thought it turned out ok.

Bots just run back and forth through the first tunnel while the rest of the map lies deserted. And STORM [PE, I couldn't really see any strategic advantage to using the horseshoe route, since the map is so big and open that you're spotted and mowed down long before you reach the enemy flag. Possibly... I think this map could benefit from being in a much smaller scale.
Technically and visually it's not bad though, I like the theme and feel of it. And the layout, though a bit flawed, proves that the author isn't afraid of trying new stuff. Keep it up.

I see patterned star texture for the stars because the texture is scaled way to low. As well as coronas in the stars, being unreal it looks fake as hell.
And ctf aint my gig, but the other comments can cover that.
