| Wesley "Boreas" van Dijk 02-15-2006 08:57 AM MST | Rating: 6 | | I must say, the screenshots looked interesting, but I soon got bored playing this map. It's just one long, straight run to the other base, or about 3 translocations and you are there as well. Bots don't understand this, giving human players an enormous advantage. It would have been nice to see these two bases facing each other, with a more (but not completely) open area between them.
| Daedalus 02-15-2006 11:02 AM MST | | Thanks for the comments thus far! I kind of made the layout to maybe teach people to use teamwork. Bots don't translocate but that's alright as human players do, heh. Besides you're going to need to run around the sides to bring that flag back! That requires some teamwork and actually is terrifying when you get near the end of the paths. Anyways, keep having fun and thanks!
eidt: oh and I was trying to stray away from "fort vs. fort" layouts. Trying something new I guess. Looks like it turned out alright.

The map looks good, and plays well, although I wish the bases had been larger. I think it also hurts that a few clever dodges can get a flag carrier on top of the bases for a very fast cap.
