Map DescriptionWinter has come, the harvest is in, the gods are happy. Time to play. This is a big open map with some custom meshes and music, perfect for anyone who's tired of industrial themed corridor crawls.

Orion(Co30) was instrumental in finishing this map. I started out with the intention of making a playable map that wasn't too ugly, in the shortest amount of time with the least effort (ie, constructing the entire map from stock meshes). After 3 days I ran out of steam and handed it off to Orion, who did a superb job of finishing and polishing the map.

Not a very well put together map with one of the weirdest looking rivers I've seen. Weapons are top heavy too. Overall well below average.

Great-looking map, especially the river (I like the way it splits around the island). I think the "snowy cliffs" theme is one of UT2004's best-looking, and I can't think of another DM map done in this style.

Play-wise, I like that it has structure and z-axis despite being 100% outdoors. Play style is different from indoor maps, but different is good in my book. Fun with zoom instagib.

It passed the "play again" test for me: after I played one round, I immediately wanted to play another. That means it has the only thing I really care about in the end: fun.

It also played pretty smoothly on my low-end system.

One glitch: translocator-users could get to high points where things don't look as pretty (behind the polygons of some of the rock). But then, those that venture that high are probably looking through their zoom scope, not at the rocks!

Custom music is nice too.
