You really don't want to see them.

This map consists of 2 rooms, a mover, and a few static meshes. This map has no imagination whatsoever, and is a typical n00b map. No pickups such as weapons, ammo, health etc.

Keep on mapping, man, but please don't submit maps like this to nalicity, unless you feel it is comparable to stock maps. People can make this for UT99 and have it look the same.

EDIT: Okay, you totally suck. Giving your own map a 10 is just sad, man. I gave you a 2 based on what you DID do right, but that 10 is going to be kinda backfiring on you.

EDIT: To redfist: since he knows how to make movers and such, I guess it isn't because he doesn't know how. Maybe an instagib lover. Either way, maps should be suited for Normal Weapons as well.

EDIT: Alright, i hate maps with no weapon and huge ass scale, so "i don't know style" I am afraid.

Knowing style must be a pain in the ass to live with.

Ok, I took your advice and I am coming out with a great map in the next week or so. I'm done with the layout, and going on to lighting. I'ts coming out great and I hope you guys will love it. Until then I'ma be in my dark corner just mapping.

Instead of talking back, kid, you should rather listen to criticizm and behave. map is very poorly made and not wanted to be seen here. I mean it doesn't mean- that people telling you to stop mapping. No that's not what it is.
You need to do-
#1 - chill out
#2 - just take a good week or better two, and make a decent map with good: a)geometry(architecture- pillares, trims ect.)
b)lighting
c)layout
d)weapon and item placement
e)texturing

PS how do you want people here to call your maps? - a piece of junk , or a "kickas$" map ? Use logic, and good luck.

your rating is a little high because you rated your own map as 10 evn though it doesn't show up!

Please note that I used to do tonns of these kind of maps. then they got better, but I never uploaded ANY of them! I uploaded only the ones that worth it.

First of all, lets look at the positive aspects of this design. I found the environment to be varied, presenting a multi layered map with indoor and outdoor settings. I believe the theme of the map could be described as a space station or dock, the large containers and lifts gave me this belief. Although this map could be used for instagib death match purposes, The map really shines in the instagib invasion gametype with monsters attacking from all angles and enough space to avoid their attacks.

Areas which you should consider for a future release would be lighting and detail. A greater atmosphere could be generated with effective lighting, I felt the map was too illuminated, especially the large brick walls outside. A nice selection of static meshes could also be implemented to alter the appearance of some plain walls, your design is fairly utilitarian and could be awarded some extra decoration.

Finally, adding normal weapons to your map would make it appeal to a wider audience, however if you have deigned this map for an instagib audience in mind it is not essential. Keep mapping , and enjoy the process .
