I've been meaning to upload it to unrealplayground, but hav'nt gotten around to it. So, you cant download just my map, or any map here? I'll work hard on getting a screenshot for my map, because it is totally awesome, just a lil small. 1on1 would be great. I'm working on one now that that ppl should love and have NO complaints (Hopefully) Its nice and roomy. Not only do I want ppl to download it, but i want them to have a fast redirection to it too. I need to learn how to redirect, or is it possible for someone to do it for me? Well, thanks.

Hey Unrea| don’t let people here get you down. So you made a few bad maps in the past, this one has to be an improvement. Can you please upload it to unrealpaygrund and then post the URL here. Then we can download it, see you know it makes sense.

But this no screen shot thing has to be rectified soon.

Edit: Ok I have played your map.

The first thing I noticed was the bots, they just seemed to crawl around a bit and generally stay in one place. In other words no botpathing. This is a must have, a map is all about playing it and if there no paths then you can not play it.

The second thing I noticed was the layout, it was not flowing in fact it was just a few rooms stuck together with no flow/thought at all. Look at com maps such as Rankin to see how it flows and try and apply some of it to your own maps, not the map just the flow.

The third thing I noticed was the size. Some places where way to small. You have played com maps so you know what size is good and what size is not. Your map is good for a hamster and not much else.

The deco was simple, in fact it was almost nonexistent. You need to take some time to develop rooms and learn how to add brushes to the walls put grids vents and pipes in, and a hole load of other stuff you could have done. Again check com maps such as Rankin to see how he has done it.

The texturing was messy. You have a texture on the floor that was made for a ceiling texture. You have a whole Gold texture on the floor. It looks horribly and you have mixed themes. Again look at com maps to see how they have textured there maps.

I have not opened your map up in Unreal ed and I will not either.

I suggest visiting www.3dbuzz.com and register there. You can download Unreal training videos to help you learn how to use the editor properly. Good luck.

Making a screenshot is rather simple, and I can only advise you to do so before you release the map. A new map gets a lot of views when it is recently added, screenshots increase the number of downloads for it.
