Map DescriptionKeeping in mind the comments i got concerning my last map i made this one.
suitable for up to 8 players it works nicely with only 2 as well.

i had the layout in mind by the time my last map was released but i took a break first and reworked the floorplan several times before i actually started building the map in unrealed.

hope you like it :)

all the mirrors are working again, yeah! :D

Checked it out,
Map looks and flows nice.
I like the touch of the snow, but the overall map looks a tad bland, but nice.
Maps like these and fractionary make me wanna work on desruc again :p

I was really looking forward to playing this too. Amnidios showed author has promise.

Okay, tried the map finally. Can't say that I wasn't at least a little disappointed. The map looks nice and all but the flow seems suspect in a couple places. For instance, the whole 50a area just seems like it was put there as an afterthought and it feels unnatural. The map overall is very open to hitscan dominance which I don't like to see. The upper floor promotes camping a bit too much since the flow of the level makes getting up there rather cumbersome, and in a 15 minute match against 5 masterful bots I ended up dying 12 times while getting 78 kills, mostly with lightning, and with lowish framerates too.

Awesome work.

Really.. i really like the feeling around with the wire and journal papers on the ground, the colors are pretty familiar with rankin, but the workflow is really good. It would be really good for ut99 aswell. Gaps also provide a better connectivity. Nice snow meshe, and nice lightning. I like the mover that pass through the window.



Definately worth a try. Adding on my TDM/DM server right now.

Incredible map here! A definite download MUST for any DM or TDM lover. I did forget to check the detail settings, but I was having too much fun playing this map to remember, sorry.

I am so jealous. >:(

Good one here. The only thing that did bother me was the position of the Rocket Launcher, I found it to easy to take. Other than that, very nice map :D

To be honest I am slightly disappointed in it. It is so close to your other map in terms of the theme. I would like to see some thing different from you, some thing fresh and unique.

The lighting is a bit too dark, but I like a lot how the map looks. The Redkin theme is done quite nicely, and it stays different enough from the original.
The layout and item stup are not brilliant for me, though. The open areas are too hitscanny, and it's a bit too hallway-ish in other places. There are only a couple of ways to go to the highest floor as it was said already, and most of the ways to go up to higher floors are woodenplanks or boxes with woodenplanks, which I think stop the flow of the map too much.
The item setup is not my favourite thing because most of the weapons were placed in hallways, which makes you go to hallways too often, making the most connected zones (open rooms) not so interesting IMO.
The framerates are a bit low in my comp. My card is not a wonder but the map doesn't look so heavy-meshed to give me such low FPS. Looking at 'rmode 2' I think it still could have been quite better optimized since there are some places that could be splitted in more zones. More antiportals would have helped a little, too... ;)
Other than that it's a pretty good map, the author is showing off a great talent and I'm looking forward to seeing a kickass layout in his next work... :)

wow this map looks awesome and has a great layout. It suffers from bad bad weapon placement though. Hopefully he'll make an SE version it could be ownage material.

edit: actually weapon placement is good what I meant was player starts are too far from them. Also the broken brick wall in the one hallway seems way too thick, from a side view.

This level is as though in RANKINS style. HOURENCES textures pack is good but all UT designers used it again and again...Playable is not bad but the BOTS are as though be headed to map center. Light is very freak as in AMNIDIOS (its same), i have felling of like this.

NELSON, this map is OK, but the sound is very very horrible.
