DM-UCMP2-Saiko | | Map Info |
| | File Name | dm-ucmp2-saiko.zip | Author | Slainchild & Soma | Gametype | UT2k4 Deathmatch | Date Added | 11-09-2005 | File Version | 1.00 | File Size | 10.61 mb | Player Count | 2 - 8 | Map Description | There used to be a time that the Saiko company was a flourishing enterprise, a leader in the gas industry. However, for employees, the days were long and filled with many risks. It was only a matter of time before someone snapped. When it finally happened, it resulted in 7 casualties, all caused by one case of mental insanity. Unbeknownst of what it would do to the company, the newspapers nicknamed it the case of "The Saiko killer". Saiko's competitors cleverly played onto these circumstances and smothered the company's good name. Despite a quick namechange, the former Saiko company never recovered from the incident. It's all gone now. The dreary halls no longer echo the loud activity that once took place here. Silence ruled the corridors for years, up until very recently. Be on the lookout when entering the former workfloor, because depression and fear were common factors when the place was active... | Review Rating | -- | User Rating | 8 | Overall Rating | -- |

Anyways, It didn't feel like a real industry work place much, more like a arena map. Giant Saiko words were strange too. Its alright, but if there is any map I would play thats DM and came in the pack it would be Dynarak.
| Soma The Real 11-14-2005 04:28 AM MST | | The better the mappers the less the comments... ;P
| G.Lecter 11-14-2005 07:07 PM MST | Rating: 8.5 | | Not much to say about this one, the layout flows greatly, with interesting action around the big powerups and plenty of z-axis. Looking at the visuals, there are some cool details [those caves under the map own ;)], but also a lot of things that repeat again and again through the map, the lighting especially is a bit too monotonous for me... but it doesn't look bad at all. Its layout makes of it a must-have map. Good work both! :)
