the good points -nice music : D -architecture is nice to -bots do nice
bad points -there is a water texture but no waterzone in it -Udmg and shieldbelt are a bit easy to get
in other words, your 1st map on nalicity looks promising, for your 1st map i give you a 7.5 good luck with other maps
EDIT: it dont make a difference in the rating :) its only detail, thats all

but in a small map like this... bots should play perfect... ... I saw 2 problems... - Bots had problem with the 2 movers... - Bots did not get the shield belt (I didnt saw them get it) those are minor problems tho...
Very good for a first map sent. This one goes in my DM collection.

I was thinking of adding a water zone but it's so shallow that i didn't think it would matter. Would it make any difference?
The Udamage and shield belt are easy to get to but...unless you time it right you'll get blown to bits by the other players. Bots are ruthless on Inhuman and i'd imagine real players are even more so.
As for the bots i tried to get them to use the lifts perfectly but had to settle for them occasionly messing up. They do get the Udamage and the shield belt but only very rarely. Can anyone suggest a way of making them continue along that lendge instead of jumping for the lower health vials?
Anyway thanks for the comments guys. I'll have a look at fixing the problems. They are so small but i think it would help a lot and shouldn't take long if someone helps me out......hint,hint

EDIT: Ok redfist, I don't suppose you could do me a favour and d/l the map. Check my pathing and tell me what i'm doing wrong. This is really bugging me. They only get the pickups when they are shooting at someone on the opposite side. So it's accidental then. With just one bot in the map they get stuck in a loop. But i cant see why!
ANOTHER EDIT: I ain't gonna take it personaly, redfist. Just part of the learning curve.
I really don't have a clue how to bot path so this would help a lot. I'm gonna be away for 2 days though but you could still email me and i'll get hold of you when i get back. Thanks for all the help!

As allways there could be more work into the map,but it gets the job done,for a quik slam game.
The bots seem to work,on version 2 now.
| Chopin 08-20-2005 10:20 PM MDT | Rating: 5 | | Nothing spectacular here. But nothing wrong with it either. You can add translocate destinations to the tops of the ledges so the bots will use the translocater to get the udamage and sheild belt.

The bio should usually be kinda high. Also, yes, you should of put in a waterzone because it'll make a splashing sound which people can use to thier advantage. I will be looking for more maps from you.
