Codex is one of the few UT maps I played, I liked it at that time, but now I think there are much better maps out. I feel this one really too cramped and claustrophobic, it doesn't fit the UT2004 movement at all. Visuals are very nice and I did not pay too much attention to the placement, but I think it could be better (not the mapper's fault since this is a remake). And bringing back the invisibility pickup would have been a nice detail. ;) Unplayable for me because of its size, a scaled-up version would become a 7 easily... goldfenix 10-20-2005 01:05 AM MDT Rating: 7.5   Very nice remake, even though I dont quite recall the original version. I really like the Indiana Jonesish theme and all (courtesy of Cliffyb) and the rest. The only problem was that there were no material sequence, so I took the time to make one for myself. I got 2 screenies in the room with the lava, and one by some staricase with 2 health things.
