It doesn't look bad, but it doesn't look good either. Meshes and terrain are used nicely but the SMs repeat all the time. The lighting is just white-ish and boring.
The layout is just boring, one level, symmetric, cramped. No specific locations you could orientate with. The item layout makes it worse. The map already is too small, but there's a large shield--too much. Also, the shields are next to each other. One shield in the middle of the map would be better. Weapons aren't placed much better.. seemed kinda randomly placed.
The Bots work quite well, though. They collect the shields as soon as they spawn and navigate the map very nice (thats not a hard job though).
@redfist...: Of course it's easy to path a level with one level, no lifts, no dodge ramps and no doors. Just place a bunch of pathnodes with about 256-512 World Units space between them, rebuild, done.
Of course, it's hard to make bots go everywhere, but this is more a problem of item placement an layouting than botpathing. Why should a bot go to an area with just a Flak ammo pickup and a health vial where he can be attacked from 10 different directions?
And the problems you mentioned, why should a "Pro-mapper" as you called it help ypo with basic things. Afaik there's a tutorial for virtually everything. If there's a problem, you made a mistake and you can fix it yourself by following the tutorial. If you did that and it still doesn't work, it's propably a problem with the engine or so and nobody can help you. That's just my opinion. I also wonder why talked about that, anyway. I'm not a "pro-mapper", look at my maps. I have loads of problems with bot pathing an item placement myself. BUT I know that it's easy to path 3 rooms on the same level.

It is really cramped, but thats the theme I was looking for.
Also, there's a flak and minigun in there too. Thanks for the textures and whatnot. I think I am going to make a DM version of this, instead of 1on1. That would be larger.

Yes it is,it may not be hard but to be fine tuned so the bots are equaly dispersed fighting in several areas at once can be very time consuming and difficult to make it right. Also it depends on the map or problem at hand I strive to make them work perfect,however things that go wrong I can NEVER get any answers from tuts,or ANY of these so called top notch mappers. Simply because they don't know,and or ever help ,I get the lamest comments from those so called pro mappers.

the ambiance is fine, for the sounds and the skybox, they where well executed. The rest is made so, everything feels cramped. There is nothing else but 3 "corridors" with a very spiky terrain that is not finished in my opinion, the terrain give to the player a hard time to move, as i have seen, there is only a shock rifle and bio. The item placement is OK for weapons, but there is so many shields. This is a good first attempt, at least it's no garbage, "DM-ultrareedeemer" like.
And please don't put a pic of your dog or whatever this time. Thanks.
