anyway.. the map itself.. a small subtracted cylinder. 2 curved staircases. a cat walk across the top of them. a square of water ( yes an added square with a moving water texture on ), and some steps going up and over that.
scrolling textures all over the place... i mean, what the hell ?! volumetric chain stuck at the very top. and a moon stuck in the ceiling :/
item placement is really poor. items range from candles crudely placed next to a redeemer, to a golden U symbol floating on the end of a huge volumetric chain. Within the map ( which is basicaly a cylinder height 1024 id guess?, an diameter of umm...1024 again ?. i dunno but its small ) the is 1 invis, 1 Udamage, 1 redeemer, a few health vials and to be honest, i didnt really spend much time on it to mentaly make not of what was is there.
as the map is small and cramped, with a player load of 3-8 (as said in the readme) this map would definalty pose a problem with flow as, to be honest, there is no where to go and you wont be able to move without someone up your arse, or you up someone elses. visualy this map is painful. not alot of thought has been put into it and i advise people who are going to be retards and slate the author and spam the comments with a hail of 0's not to download or even look at this map in anyway because for sure, you WILL feel the need to start shit slinging. lets try to get NC a more friendlier place where new mapper can be confident they'll get constructive critsism
overall id say this map looks like a first attempt that shouldnt be realeased. i suggest the author do alot of reading. Tutorials shouldnt be too hard to find now. Do some reading and practice.. but dont rush or you'll end up gaining the same amount of respect as some mappers here who dont seem to learn. as i dont wanna mention any names im sure another user here would like to list a few :)
so. as a first attempt (i assume thats what this map is) i would rate this map a 1.5 as you managed to find the editor and learn to use the add and subract features earning 0.5 of a point, and 1 point for actualy making a map that works.. ok so it doesnt have great playability or any lifespan at all but its a start. Keep mapping and ignore the retards that try to shit on you.

maybe all the experienced mappers should start posting their first maps, so we can get a good laugh and also show the new mappers we all start out the same.

I only wanted to give constructive critics too. You know, to help. First of all I want to tell I find it good you knew how to add music and botpaths. You can find a good mapping guide on the Beyond unreal main site (i'm not atvertising it, only pointing it out) Never tried it but lot's of mappers have started using that one. All in one a 1.5 (to make real water go: Actor browser/Info/Zoneinfo/Waterzone and place it in a room separated with (water) zoneportals
