| reddeth 02-11-2004 01:23 PM MST | Rating: 8 | | 2 Aztec temples opposite a grove of trees. The temples are dug into mountains. The interior of each are well design if not a little bland texture wise. There's a raised walkway outside running the length of each temple with a door on each end. Behind either door is a room with a weapon and a teleport into each base. There are three openings into each base (on the ground level) as well.
The tree grove is dense enough to give plenty of cover. The edges of the grove are darker than the middle helping in concealment.
The bots attack and defend very well.
A very fun fast paced map.

oh well back in the days it was fun to build, texturing is way to easy, lighting is sourceless (besides the sun) and no work whatsoever on the detail.
ive had tons of fun playing on it with friends though :P
edit 4 XepptizZ lol dude. 1. your right. 2. i couldnt map shizzle back then, this was my first (released) map evah :p 3. back then there wherent many trees available, and i couldnt model :P w00t im decent :P
lol, nowadays its way easyer to make a map like this for 2k4 :p

| XepptizZ 06-23-2004 04:31 PM MDT | Rating: 4 | | Bad texturing and also bad lighting. Very basic archi and the forest looks totally fake. It's like oversized palm trees on a perfectly flat green floor. The top of the map seems to be covered with a fake masked leaf texture wich is very repetetive. If you'd take the time, you could count the number of repetitions. This map has almost no z-axis either.
EDIT Cursed Soul, you're a decent guy, many mappers would have been pissed or something just because I gave some construtive comments. It's a good way to build respect, now I can only hope good maps will follow. :)
