BR-1on1-Mhoeb | | Map Info |
| | File Name | br-1on1-mhoeb.zip | Author | Chavez | Gametype | UT2k4 Bombing Run | Date Added | 04-18-2005 | File Version | 1.00 | File Size | 664 kb | Player Count | 2 - 4 | Map Description | I have now published the final version of BR-1on1-Mhoeb.
A small (as you might guess, if you read 1on1) UT2k4-BR - Map, set in a dark abandoned technical complex. Fast play, only one weapon (the shockrifle). It is also playable for 2on2.
Map is made mainly with retail stuff, only a few custom meshes, but the filesize is very, very bandwithfriendly.

| Couchman 04-18-2005 04:54 PM MDT | Rating: 7.5 | | ok, i like the idea, its a ok level to play and is sort of fun, its very well made and looks awesome, the particle emmitters were also top notch. Now for the things that bothered me a little, first of all you can spawn at whichever base you like, which was confusing for me at first because it didnt make much sense, also another thing is that the shockcord rifle is the only gun avalible, which could make this level a shockcord combo frag house judging by its size. Also, when you score you do not die, like in other bombing run maps, when you jump through the net that is. anyway i feel my score was fair and i look forward to see more of your maps in the future
| Chavez 04-19-2005 05:39 AM MDT | | It is a kind of strange speciality of the map, that you can decide where you want to respawn. Discussed it in betatesting and decided to keep it. The player has to decide fast wether he wants to appear at his or the enemybase, bots are good in fast decisions. It makes sense if you lost the ball in front of the enemy goal, so you do not have to wait in your base, where he comes, you can just respawn, where you have lost the ball, sometimes you can get it faster than the enemy who killed you.
