| DW 03-19-2005 01:47 PM MST | Rating: 6 | | A visually sharp match, and some fun game play. Simplistic lay out, and way to much ammo, and tends to lend itself to flack fights. Its a good map for a straight forward death match. A littls more spit and polish and it would be a great map

I agree with DW that there is too much ammo with the guns, two packs are good most of the time. There needs to be trim in the center of the observ where the stairs are. An island is needed out in the water with someting good on it mabye even more playing area so that the ation is more spread out not just centered in the observ. When I went into the 1st and 3rd openings on the right side of the observ there was a glitch for a half second. On the top of the observ in the back was an area where I could see through a hole in the terrain. Overall i liked the map and i'd like to see a version 2 or an update:)

Ammo: will take some out:...say half of it.
Playing Area: Had some comments to make it smaller as well, will leave it that way.
Textures stretched: anywhere else but on the bleu supportbeams and the terrain?
Glitch: I know. Try opening this one in the editor. You're mouth will drop, don't know what it is, only happened on this map. I do sincerely hope that I can fix this, spent some hours fiddling with it allready: fixed it, opened the map....SURPRISE....BACK AGAIN....
Worse glitch: Try running along the wall on the right side of the left entrance on the second floor, when you reach the corner you die.....big ooops there.
See through: On some occasions I like that, not in UT maps though, found some more places where that happens.
Stairs and trim: Might even take out the whole idea of the spiral stairs, it just walks to awkwardly and is not roomy enough.
Overall theme: Had somecomments on that too, I think I will not try and get the theme just right and connected. I will fix the big issues, and move on..........to my third map. Well actually it'll be the 5th but the first three were more or less the same.
With the third I'll do some more walking around and invite a bigger group for betatesting...I will also try and get a more overall theme feeling, not just grabbing the first cool looking smesh that comes across.
It's prolly the bigger the number of eyes that can watch the smaller amount of glitches will be around in the final.
