I am having good luck with the maps I am trying today... > The visuals are not really spectacular, but the map looks nice, there is some custom content... The pickup bases look great... > The layout is OK for 1on1. - I liked the liftjump... - I think the arcs and some corridors are a little cramped. - There are 2 healths on a platform near the flak, on this platform, I miss the posibility of dodging up the higher one... Edit: OK, yep, it's possible dodging it up, but I think it's a bit difficult... Perhaps I must practise more... > (This is not important at all): In my opinion, the pickups should be floating a bit more. It is a nice map overall...

Simple and small map yet solid and well made. Proves you dont need a lot of highpoly super stuff to make something look good. Nice, original, good atmosphere and solidly put together

You might want to fix some windows where you can translocate through to the top area providing a perfect sniping and hiding place.

Looks good, the bsp archi is really nice. GP is also good, not the best, but it's ok. The custum weapon und helathbases look not as good as they have to, rather take the originals. And the plants are scaled to big.

This has the most insane gameplay I seen for a long time. I played with 2 adept bots and they owned me so hard my butt still hurts! 2 tiny things: the corridor from flak to supershield is too tight, and the dead end in the supershield room confused me a few times. The rest is just pure ownage!

The slide ramp thingy is either too steep or too high. You should have tested it before uploading your map.

Good gameplay except for the biorifle which is, in my opinion, a bit spammy. Nice visuals and lighting....

Good map, nothing special but well done. Some small things to say:
-Some rooms are a bit small. Same with some corridors. -Lighting is a bit boring, imho.. -I think there is too much health in the map. One healthpack on these platforms is enough..

One of the best tight mps for 2k4! Those pictures do not tell anything about the map. Layout is a bit basic, but it offers enough Z-axis and trickjumps to be entertaining. All weapons are present, which is allways a good thing. Visuals are solid, though there's nothing to drop your jaws. But this also means high FPS. With humans the gameplay would be much better, but I didn't have a change to test yet.
However, given the maps size, weapons stay should be on at all times. This, in turn, takes away some of the tactical value. Excluding the lifts, there aren't any sound indications, though in a small map like this they're not needed either (they would make it easier to dominate).
Bottom line: A well together put map with trick jumps and fairly good gameplay.

That means you're doing it wrong. It's really easy to get up the slope, and if you want, you can even add in a walldodge first to ramp yourself even higher off of it.
Anyway... Nice map, but too small for my taste. I like how it looks and the nice lighting detail, but it's too small by UT2004 standards. It becomes really easy to lock down the map with weapon stay off since all the weapons are basically right next to each other.

I've been playing this map for atleast an hour, doing 1 on 1 matches with Malcolm. That's when it hit me: this map rules! It has awesome architectural design, textures are cool, and the rooms and weapons and all are well done. It's funny too, because your corpse can fall down through the bars and whatnot. I really want to use your textures and theme to make a similar 1 on 1 match, so please tell me if I can!
Well thanks, i don't want to someone to boot me or get pissed if I do without permission. I think the map will be called DM-1on1-Hilsh or something, I don't know. By the way, I won't use all your static meshes and custom stuff, I'll make new stuff also.
Well, that idea actually became what is now known as DOM-Grove. That's right, DOM-Grove was inspired by this map.

Very nice map, reminds me of a Q3 style custom. Felt a bit tight at first but once you get running around you re-adjust quickly. It's a control map, but thats not always a bad thing... pushes you to think. Only real prob I had was the dead end.
Lovely theme and nice gameplay.
