| redfist 02-27-2005 02:47 PM MST | | Man this sure seems to be looking like another level,but the one that looks like this ,the author put the red playerstarts next to the blue flag, and blue by the red flag. And and had to fight your way accros the field. Sure looks familiar,and was for UT
I am decribing another map!!! does this map have the same setup? Or is it the same author? as the UT map i was speaking of (dont know the name)

Spawnpoints next to the enemy flag, that's half a won run. Well, this might be hard enough though, because you can't hide here! O_O There is no Z-Axis possibility, too.
=> Who submits this crap voluntarily???

Im posting one comment on all the (LGIwpx) maps.
Layout: very simple, almost to no Z-axis gameplay, while this might be a preference to some, at least some z-axis would be nice for dynamic gameplay. Mostly you can see the intire map from any point in the maps so basically everything is similair to ctf-box.
Lighting is poorly constructed, and almost no lightsources like flames and other light emitting objects.
Detail is hard to find in these maps, almost no static meshes, no detail bsp, no trim, no support no nothing.
Bots do what they should do in a box, so nothing to talk about in this section.
Furthermore you could get more fun and detail in UT maps.

| kais 08-09-2005 06:00 AM MDT | | I hate to say it but this map sucks, I hate these kind of andaction-alike ctf maps. The argitecture isn't good, and there are some bugs. Gameplay isn't fun and the lighting also needs a lot more work. I do kind of like the circle-lightning in the middle and the stadium light-poles , but judging from the rest of the map i doubt you made those. I'm not saying your a bad mapper or anything, you just need to learn more and think more detailed. Like cursed soul said, try some tuts gl in the future:)
