weeee! maybe all us mapperz are all related by one trait: our first map. they all look alike in some way... n2bad for a 1st ;)
mine was a subtracted spere with a wierd platform and some redeemrz in teh middle. ahh...the days of a newb. looks a little different from Ortican, though :P.

The idea is nice, but its isnt that more the a few tubes with a square and some stairs
but this is your 1st map i give it a 8 (only becuase this is your 1th map)

Anyway,that map is good for Newbie Quality.
And he did DM-Rankin,DM-Rrajigar,ONS-Dawn,ONS-Dria and with Streamline Studios,ONS-Torlan.

Well I must say,Hourences is pretty cool,first cool maps,and then a usefull texture pack,and sharing his first level from way back when the unreal ed engine was in all it's coolness,
Then even more cooler levels.
And ! helping other mappers,shouldn't go unsaid.

Here is where this site gets really funny, If you make 100 maps and then realse only your best stuff, you become a Nalicity God, then you can upload your first crap map and not be flamed to hell and back, but god forbid you realse your first map first, because it will most likely be your last after you get flamed to death as a noob. This example might be a good lesson for some of you noobie mapper slammers, just think of the maps you could have missed if hourence had realsed this way back when and got discouraged to keep mapping, just a thought.

... GenMoKai and NiX's comments are truly a 'gag' masterpiece here... also, yes, if a mapper produces (creates?) good mappage, then why not release his/her prior work, as a curiosity at least? I see no wrong with that.
N00b getting flamed is *part* of it all. If a "n00b" cannot realize that flamers are flamers and that there's actual helping people around too, then yes, they're whinners. 'Oh boo-hoo, i'm not loved for my first effort! i blame my parents!' ... really. This NC so-called elitism is getting to my nerves. People won't love you for your first effort, unless it's something really unusual for a first timer. Get over it. Grown people take it and swallow it. They taste that crap, and spit it out to the flamer's eyes -*WITH A BETTER MAP NEXT TIME, NOT RUNNING AWAY TO UnPl, OR OTHER PLACE*-...
