Map DescriptionThe Layout is the same as in DM-1on1-Dusk, but I replaced the items, so the flow is IMO better than before. Also, I cnaged the wooden hallways, because lots of people said that they don't fit in the map. I changed them into a concrete construction that fixes a destroyed part of the building. I did some minor fixes in the botpathing, lighting and texturing, too.

I reviewed this one not long ago and since the author has requested a review of the improved map, I will comment just on whats new this time so if you missed the original review just go to http://nalicity.beyondunreal.com/map_hub.php?mid=8017 and check it out, then come back here and read whtas new.

Aparently the map hasn’t changed much. We still have the same layout and lights, the same viusal style etc, but this time the wooden corridors have been replaced with some real architecture, and it’s a nice looking archy. But unfortunately the lighting of that zone is a bit plain and it doesn’t exploit the new archy. I think it could look mch better…The textures were also another flaw on the original map, not because of bad alignement but because the had some shadows on the edges. Those shadows have been reduced this time but it looks like its engine’s problem.


Some other improvements are the bots as this time they don’t get stuck anywhere and the displaced skybox has been corrected too. About the item placement I can say this time it’s better balanced though the minigun and the flak are to close I think. Some ammo packs are still a bit outta your way but as in the previous map I think its passable.

The author put some more work here and I enjoyed this one more than the original as bots didn’t get stuck this time and overall the place looks a bit better, besides the weapons are better balanced so that’s why I think it deserves +0.5

calm down, he was talking about the empty description-part. But now it's ok. I didn't play v1.0, but I'm gonna check this ASAP. :)

Edit: ammo placement is horrible, I remember a single lousy ammo for bio. This needs a lot more than flak for 2ndary shots, u know... And I love bio...
Still too much wood IMO, but the rest is okay. Won't keep it, however. Sorry.

hey, you did some improvements :) thats cool!


i like how you reworked the wooden corridors and the new archy looks good. (still the lighting there is not too cool :p ) changed the weapon locations but the ammo packs are still a bit outta place. The textures still show some shadows on the edges but i guess thats thats just because of the engine itself. overall the place looks better (not much though). bots didnt get stuck this time.

i guess im gonna look forward your next work dude. :)

Hey, I had good fun playing it...
- The lifts are a bit strange at first.
- The visuals & The lighting could have been a bit better, but the layout is great. Lots of conectivity and different ways to surprise the enemy.
- The bot played an interesting match doing different jumps and liftjumps.
I Recommend downloading this one if you are looking for great gameplay. Nice improvements from the last version...

A solid map for the flow of gameplay. Average visuals. Good item placement but I question the location of the spawn points.
