and yeah i am a much better player than mapper... especially 1v1. In fact i havent lost a 1v1 in ut99 in years ands years. (god am doesnt count!) i would of course like to make maps that got good reviews here- what i dont understand is when ppl PLAY on the clanX maps, for the most part they love em and have a good time- it is only here that ppl bitch about em- i wonder do you folks just look at em? try playin on em with 16 ppl with rocket jump on- i guess i failed to mention thats how clanX plays... does it make any difference lol....

Boring texturing. Walls, floors.. the same. Why, why the same? There are so many textures to choose from, and most of the times they're even split up in categories such as "floors, walls, ceiling, misc"..

When I entered the map, there were some very ugly dark parts in front of me.
The sky seems to move at an extreme rate. That's a no-no. Slow it down. I hope you know how to do that. Maybe you're just too lazy ;-)
Or maybe you think fast skies are great. They're not.
Lighting. Terrible. That red light in the center of the level.. what a horrible choice. There's also some "throw up yellow" mixed in between.
There are lamps and lanterns (but why in a level like this???) which don't seem to be emiting any light. Odd...
Architecture is very monotonous. No change, the hallways are all the same.
Halfway there's a lamp being put upside down on the ceiling. Apparently it's supposed to lit up the room, but it's dark.
There's this monkstatue in the corner of a hallway, next to him are huge eh.. lights, but they're dark as well. Where is that light coming from, why is it blinking :)
Repetitive architecture down below. At leas the weapons on the topside aren't wildly scattered around.
Your custom textures are aligned. You did add a level screenshot-description-amount of players. You added bot pathing.
There's a readme, it's vague though.
You bothered to include some screenshot from your level, which is a nice gest. Not many people do this. But at least you should've renamed them ;-)
There are no sounds. Nothing. It's just plain.. dead I guess. No wind, no other ambient sounds such as fire maybe.. maybe some nali chants (cause of the statues).
That's very boring :-/ Levels should have sounds.
Health is scarse.
Hallways are big and long. The "long walks" in between can get a tad tedious. + The horrendous lighting and repetitive texturing. It's almost a horror show.
Bots do work though. But in a simple map like this, they're SUPPOSED to work.
I think there's only one texture used for the main level. Bad :-/
I don't think you'll change your way of "mapping", just don't get all worked up when people tell you it's not all that.
Maybe it'd be a good idea to start learning the editor for real :-B
Not a good map. Not worth keeping. Only if you're immune to horrible texturing/lighting and games which require at least 12-16 players to make it feel alive.
