Kudos on another decent map, I did enjoy it. But, imo there are always things to improve so I'll try and list all the things I noticed that could have been done better.

The requisite reflective pool. It was almost like I was staring into a mirror here :P Turn up the transparency a little more on that.

The white rock static meshes. These were ok, but often enlarged from their normal size, producing a polygonal feel and stretched textures. Nothing major, but still. Also, the meshes didn't look that great coming into contact with the terrain, but I guess there's not much you can do about it.

The terrain. Mostly this was good, but in a few parts around the main building it was a little too polygonal and could have been easily fixed with a little more smoothing.

Custom meshes. For the most part these were high quality, but the demonic star pentagram thingy (don't really know the name :P) had the flashing effect of mesh overlap.

The lava tunnel area. I thought the terrain on the sides of this tunnel looked bad, and could have been done with static meshes instead for a better effect. Also, the lava texture was a little strethced, but nothing major here.

Also, I think the custom meshes (and really, the rest of the map like the bsp, etc) could have benefitted from a higher resolution texture pallette. I think this is the main thing holding back the map from looking amazing.

The sound was there, but it was so faint I couldn't hear it without cranking the sound and turning off the music. If you're going to spend the time to put sounds in your map, make sure we can hear them.

The music, although it was refreshing because it was custom, did not fit the map at all in my opinion. A more serene and laid back piece would have fit it more.

I think I nitpicked all I could on the aesthetics, now onto the gameplay.

It was pretty decent overall, with a fair amount of z-axis which is always nice. Unfortunately, it wasn't anything amazing, but it was still above average. I can't really pinpoint the flaws in it, but I guess as you map more you'll get better with these things.

All in all, this is a decent looking, decent playing map that's definately worth a download. Just nothing thats going to blow your mind.

This may not have "blown my mind," but it's definitely one of the better DM maps I've DL'd recently. Visually exciting, surprising in a theme that's not exactly new, and solid gameplay. Weapon placement a tiny bit wonky. I didn't notice the sounds being overly quiet, but then again I always have the music off, since good map skills does not equal good taste in music. Har.

Well done.

The layout and flow is very tight, in fact a little too much for the playercount I think, and the visuals are good, but I don't know, it feels like something is missing, though I can't exactly point it out. Maybe it's the outdoor map, where you intuitively expect more room to move on, so I was a little surprised how small the arena was... But definatly a good effort and one of the better maps that have recently been released.

I liked:
- Visuals are really nice.
- Original music...
- The jumpads look well & make the game funnier.

I did not like:
- The layout is not very good for DM in my opinion. I can do very few jumps without the jumpads & the indoors are cramped for dodgetricks. I miss more conectivity & liftjumps too.
- I think teleporters are not the best choice in DM even though this one does not work so bad...

Not the best map if you are looking for good gameplay, but it is a must have if you are looking for good visuals only. I recomend playing it at least once...
