Looks very nice, will check it out asa I finished my homework to give a better opinion since pictures only tell a small part of the 'story'.

So, ill update asap.

Ill be fast about this one since I have to go away for the day as well.

Layout: Oldsk00l (but imho hardcore)layout, IF id play Deathmatch with some friends this would be one of the maps id play.

Item placement: simple but effective, imho every item is on a place that is memorable (I had them memorized in less than a minute) and on a place that fit the weapons (again imho (in my humble opinion))

Decoration: dm-DE-Ironic-ish but with some of Hour's Ons-Adara's meshes, some parts of the map are made with love, and others look like you didn’t know what to do with it (well known problem with me as well)
so some parts look a bit out of place (especially the blue water)
Not that superb, but certainly not bad :)

Lighting: not bad, not superb.

Botplay: didn’t have time for that atm, sorry.

Sounds: Sigh.. going to buy a new one today.
I would give it about a 6.5/7.
(6.5 sounds to lowish for this map maybe if your sound would be very out of place :p, so 7ish would be about right.. but not totally right)
Ill keep this one on my drive for when I want to pwnz my friends, but its not a map that id show to impress.

that blue water is really out of place, and yes the map does remind me of some other map, only that map was slightly tighter than this one ;)
Nice effort though

EDIT: ECE pack neccessary, the first person who commented misses the Adara package Hourences made for his ONS-Adara for the ECE bonuspack.

the blue water really doesn't fit in there - maybe some greenish water or something but to quote unreal2: blue is definitely not your colour! ;)

the main idea behind this map is kind of nice therefor you get 5 points. but actually i was missing something to make it really interesting. it just looks very plain in some places so maybe if you changed the general scale of the map (at some places it was quite overscaled and the playermodel just looked small in there)it might become more interesting. the architecture imo needs work, too - you can make the map a lot nicer by just changing the architecture a bit.
i hope this doesn't sound offensive as i just want to give advice :)

all this fuss over a little blue water. in the grassy area, it is out of place, but under the grate, looks good.
what a fine map! i guess no ones going to bitch about this one being cramped! well laid out with different fighting styles useful in different places. i like the weapons and ammo being separated, though the flak cannon ammo was too close to that pick-up, and you have 2 more ammos elsewhere in the water. otherwise, weapon placement is perfect. the DD is in a relatively hard location to get to, but more important, trying to get it puts the player at great risk of being picked off.
the grassy areas maybe could have used less grass, and more general terrain cover.
good job! this one really feeds my sniper rifle habit :)

This map is actually a remake of DM-Malevolence, and I wrote Rich 'Akuma' Eastwood in 1st position as author in the readme

Anyway, I built everything from scratch, so this map isn't a remake from any Malevolence-Remake, but since it's based on the same map, it may look similar :)

Btw, I submited this map for beta-testing in some forums 1-2 months ago under the name DM-MalevolenceRevisited, then decided to change the name (on a suggestion from Yournan) because of the changes in size/shape from the original

Unbelievable!

This map is so much fun to play, the BOTs play very well and there's just enough Nostalgia, that there just lots to love about this map.

I had problems with this map. Most of the staticmeshes looked white, I don't know why. I have installed Both ECE & CBP packs.
I played it a little and it is a good arena, I feel it too wide sometimes and I miss some more z-axis and liftjumps. The water looks really odd.
Great work, I don't rate it because the bug did not allow me to play the map as well as I would have liked...

I had the same problem with the meshes. Funny I thought I had every bonus pack loaded as well. Gameplay was o.k. but it is partly a remake....
