this map is quite small , if you love big maps , i sugjest you give up

A new Jailbreak map in NaliCity! > Visuals: Visuals are OK. - Great framerates. - The lighting is not very good & It could be much better (more dynamic, and it could fit with the colour of the nice skybox). Those big flares/coronas in the bases hurt the gameplay (and my eyes...) > Layout: The level is very small for Jailbreak. - Some nice ramps outside. - Uhmmmm... bots can see me in the grass, but I can't see them > Item placement: Well, I don't like very much the pickup placement: - Some weapons are not included. - There are lots of big pickups: 50shield + 100heath + 50shield in the same ramp... This is a Jailbreak map, players should be killed easily... - I also feel the level a bit minigunish. - There is a ShockRifle near the BlueBase, but there is not anything around the Red zone. > Jails: - In my opinion, the red jail should be in the blue base, & the blue jail should be in the red base. (OK, I agree it offers better gameplay as it is now. Just I feel a little weird to see my teammates jailed in my own base...) - The execution sequence is nice, but I don't like the camera... > The level comes with levelpreview & custom loading screen, but they don't fit with the other jailbreak maps... [Removed all my replies to make a nicer comment]

Your text for map descr is too wide,pushing page around,,map I aint tried jailbreak yet.

| Gul Dukat 01-26-2005 03:25 PM MST | | After installing this map I couldn´t find it in the maplist of UT2004. So I tried to start it directly from my UT2004/maps-folder. Then an error message about a missing file "BenTropicalSM01" appeared. How can I fix it???
EDIT: Thanks for the hint. I´m already downloading it right now (with 56K... omg) Will be done in a few days LOL

| D-7 03-12-2005 06:09 AM MST | | bugreport: 1. Playing on red. After losing a round, a blue player spawns in our base and gets raped... Take a look at the playerstarts.
2. OH MY EEEYES! Those UBER-bright red coronas are teh suck. They block the sight for the defending sniper.
3. Itemplacement is quite sucky as well. The round is usually over by the time the pickups in the middle arena spawn. There's ammo for shock in the base while the SR itself is faar away. Put RL and mini into the bases and shock in front of them. Flak and bio on the ramps, LG to the top.
