| C Duke 12-02-2004 04:05 PM MST | Rating: 4.5 | | I played a good bot match on this one but there are a few things that put me off in this map, here goes:
- Biggest problem, unless you are on the bottom floor you tend to stick to the floor you are on. If you jump down you are just going to get whopped by somebody when your on 17 health and the ramps (which are the only way safely down) take you out of the battle too much. Safe fall holes would be good (with slopes at the bottom) or some sort of air lift/jump pad would work.
- The music doesn't really fit the setting. I always like to see custom music but this track didn't do it for me.
- Bots have the tendency to suddenly change there path.
Apart from that this map is quite good unless of course you hate simple arena maps. But to me, there is always a place for them.
EDIT: My mistake about the bots. Nice to hear someone can finish all there started projects, I sure can't. :D

But they do tend to stay in the main arena area especially if they have something to shoot at. Fewer bots will travel around more. As far as the music goes, I guess it's just a matter of taste.
Redfist: I made about 20 maps and got them 90% finished. I would get an idea for a new map before I completely finished them. i finally decided to buckle down and finish them all before making any new ones. Thanks for asking.
EDIT: No prob on the bot thing C Duke, but can i get u to bump that 4.5 at least to a nice average 5? I know it aint Hourences but it aint [Viking]Warrior either:) EDIT: No 5? ok no 5.

| Pomperi 07-02-2005 06:43 AM MDT | Rating: 6.5 | | Good arena style map. Very symetric. Could seem like a bad thing at first, but the gameplay tends to be pretty action filled once you started playing it.
Theme is a bit unconvenience. Unlikely from the music, richrig just isn't evil enough. Lighting could use a bit more color in it; like a stronger yellow from the lamps, and stronger, colder blue from the sky. Details where there, like spider-webs and such. A bit more trim would not harm, since the map has a really low poly/view, which is good, but there could be more details without crashing my poor ol' computer =P
Bot's did what they were supposed to do; killing me =(.
Brushwork was very solid, and I didn't spot any single error.
Overall, a good map that could use some more visuals ;)
